The Pacific Northwest has been the center of my photography for many years. From the Olympic Coast and San Juan Islands to the North Cascades, Mount Rainier, the Enchantments, alpine lakes, forests, waterfalls, and the flower fields of the Skagit Valley, this is the landscape I know best.
I’m drawn to the Northwest in changing weather and transitional light—sunrise, sunset, fog, fresh snow, autumn color, reflections, and the quiet moments that appear between more dramatic conditions. Some photographs are broad mountain and coastal landscapes; others are intimate studies of forests, water, flowers, and details found along the trail.
This section organizes my Northwest archive by location and subject, with galleries covering many of the places I return to again and again throughout Washington and the surrounding region.
