Northwest Mountains Photography

The mountains of the Pacific Northwest have been at the center of my photography for years. Mount Rainier, Mount Baker, Mount Shuksan, Mount St. Helens, Mount Adams, the North Cascades, and the Olympic Mountains all have very different personalities, light, and weather. I’m especially drawn to these peaks when conditions transform them—fresh snow, alpenglow, lenticular clouds, clearing storms, fog, sunrise, sunset, and the brief moments when light separates a mountain from the surrounding landscape. This collection includes both broad mountain views and more intimate studies of ridges, glaciers, snowfields, and changing atmospheric conditions, photographed from trails, valleys, overlooks, and the air. Fine-art prints are available in a variety of sizes and finishes. If you are looking for a particular Northwest mountain, viewpoint, or weather condition that you don’t see here, please ask.
