Arizona and Utah Landscape Photography

The desert landscapes of Arizona and Utah are among the most visually distinctive places I photograph. This collection includes Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Vermilion Cliffs, the Bentonite Hills, sandstone canyons, desert mesas, and other landscapes across the American Southwest. I’m drawn to the way changing light reveals the color, texture, and geology of these places—from intimate patterns in eroded earth to sweeping aerial views of vast desert terrain. Many of these photographs were made at sunrise or sunset, when the landscape shifts from muted earth tones into deep reds, golds, and pastels.
