The Washington and Oregon coasts are defined by sea stacks, tide pools, broad beaches, forested headlands, and constantly changing Pacific light. This collection includes photographs from the Olympic Peninsula and locations along the Oregon Coast, photographed at sunset, blue hour, low tide, and during the dramatic weather that gives the Northwest coast its character. Many of these images were made when tide and light briefly came together—reflections across wet sand, glowing sea mist, exposed tide pools, and evening color around offshore rocks and headlands.
