Seattle Aerial Photography
Seattle looks very different from above. This collection brings together years of my aerial photography of the city I grew up in, photographed from helicopters and drones in changing light, weather, seasons and atmosphere.
The gallery ranges far beyond the familiar skyline: downtown Seattle, the Space Needle, Elliott Bay and Puget Sound, Lake Union and Lake Washington, Queen Anne, Capitol Hill, Eastlake, Madison Park, the University District, Seattle’s bridges, ferries, working waterfront and port. Many of these are uncommon viewpoints photographed at sunrise, sunset, blue hour, through winter fog, beneath dramatic clouds, or in fleeting golden light.
Some photographs are grand views of the entire city. Others are much more personal—a familiar neighborhood, a ferry route, a bridge crossed every day, a university, stadium or stretch of waterfront. For people who know Seattle, those details often matter as much as the skyline itself.
Fine-art prints are available for homes, offices, businesses and public spaces in a variety of sizes and finishes.
