Mount Rainier Wildflowers Photography
Each August, the alpine meadows of Mount Rainier National Park come alive with extraordinary displays of wildflowers. Purple lupine, scarlet paintbrush, delicate avalanche lilies, and countless other blooms transform the mountain slopes into a remarkable landscape of color.
I've spent many summers exploring and photographing these meadows, returning again and again to follow the changing light, weather, and fleeting beauty of wildflower season.
From brilliant sunrise alpenglow to quiet evening light and mist drifting through the valleys, every visit offers something different. This collection represents some of my favorite moments in one of my favorite places to photograph.
I hope these images convey a little of the magic of summer at Mount Rainier.
